North-State Wines

Why Northern California Wines?
It's the Micro-climates...

Vineyard-Sunset-Print

Our area is unique in its many different micro-climates. That means unique climate conditions exist just miles apart from one another. Due to the drastic changes in elevation, differences in heat and cooling, variety of soils, and diverse growing conditions, this area has the unique ability to grow grapes that may only be found in one area of the world.

Virtually any growing condition found in any wine area in the world can be recreated within pockets of the North State. While this means we have small growing areas in prime conditions it offers the ability to make unique one of a kind wines every time, offering niche wines to family and estate growers, as opposed to mass production in some more well known growing areas. Even within the same varietals, you will find completely different tastes due to soil, elevation and techniques.
